Just an old notes of mine on IPL, thought of sharing with you guys.
IPL gave lot of buzz,glamour and of course lot of news with all credit going to Mr.Modi his tweeting, challenging BCCI. Abbhi sab thanda hua..not even a single breaking news on any news channels..
other day while reading a newspaper a small column said " farmers suicide epidemic adds 2 more, state planning taking concerned action. later part was a bit unrealistic .At that moment state was more cocerned with deciding about whether to leive an Entertainment tax on IPL.
thought came in my mind, if this world was really nice with helping each other why not start a FPL (Farmers premier league)..diiff states, distributed lands, corporates sponsoring farmers ,team of farmers, a set target, govt support - subsidies and no suicides..
knock -knock, phone ringed - "Hey Mumbai Indians into final.we r planning to watch it live? are u in ?" i replied : yes".. with a feeling that sumthings need to change "Hope there's some MODI who can take FPL into reality"..
